When this point arrives in your relationship ladies you've gat a few options and I will mention some. 1) check why they have changed, what did you do? What did he do? Or what didn't either or you do? 2) can you work on this or not? If not run or yes put on your best shoes and work on it.
Every girl knows we date men that sell us dreams, he may not even have said it but its how he carried himself before you that started to create that dream, in some case you can live that dream happily in other cases he sold you bulls and only wanted to get it on.

Things change in every relationship good or bad but it's how you both behaviour towards it and how much influence you let the outside world have on your relationship.
Guys am sure you have read this and thought ya what about us? Well what about you? Some of you are worth it some are not
So guys you treat your girl right all this time and you decide to test if she really loves you or the things YOU BUY so you start sliding, am not saying you should do this but it's a starting point to know. Some women will stay with you through thick and thin some will bail. If they bail you know if they don't you know as well.
But don't be too quick to judge those who bail check the reasons and if its all money then you definitely know.
Relationships are hard and always will be but when both parties are committed and in it for the long haul then you can make it work otherwise don't wasting each other's time.

Thanks so much for sharing this post girl. I have been thinking this same thing lately. I've been married for 3 years and even though I am so happy, it seems like we don't have that initial romance like we used to. I'm not saying I'm going to bail or anything...I just need to find a way to get it back! Oh relationships lol!
ReplyDeleteI am glad it came at right time and I am sure you will find your way back to the first romance
DeleteI've had this happen before. Sometimes it's so sudden, like one second everything is perfect, and then the next, he completely stops trying. There's usually a deeper reason though, like he has realized the relationship isn't what he wanted and is trying to let the girl down easy.
ReplyDeleteI know exactly what you mean but i think talking is always the first step if not then move along
DeleteSO SO SO true. I have been at that point in my relationship where I drift off into dreamland remembering the sweet moments in the beginning when things were less complicated and just fun. I think we all do this. Relationships are not easy at all and the longer you have been with someone the more work they take. It's true though, you should never stop working at it. Love takes nurturing!
ReplyDeleteWorking at it constantly and trusting one another helps this along. Talking to one another is vital
DeleteSo true! When I was dating, I had a terrible time reminiscing about my first boyfriend, Landon--none of my other boyfriends could live up to him. So, four years after I stopped dating Landon, we got back together. And after another year of soul-searching (did we both change? will this work again? am I just living in the past?), we got married--and now, five years after that, we've got a toddler!
ReplyDeleteI am glad that you kept thinking and measuring because the end results sounds amazing
DeleteAnother great post Myrabev, it's like you're writing them for how I've been feeling this past week and a half. I think a relationship only works if both people are willing to work at it, it can't be one chasing the other. I read before that love should never be lazy and that's so true. Yes people become comfortable and may not make as much of an effort as they once did but it's so important to try and hold on to what made you fall for each other in the first place.
ReplyDeleteAfter 23 years of marriage I can attest to the good times and the bad. Kindness and consideration are what helps make a strong relationship stronger. But it has to be on both sides. If one person is doing it all it's not fair and may not last. :(
ReplyDeleteI definitely agree with you 100% on this!! It is so true!! I also love your outfit so much! I love the shoes and jewelry especially! Such a classy, trendy look, very well done. Great post:)
ReplyDeleteMy boyfriend is too honest, lol..... too honest that sometimes I want him to lie, LOL! But I do appreciate whenever he is honest, he is just being truthful. I guess I was lucky as not all men are honest... some even can lie to you while looking straight to your eyes.
ReplyDeletei feel like the both of us have been so busy we hardly even think about whether things are good or bad in our relationship or reminisce about the good ol days. that's just want busyness can do.. but i know we need to do a proper sit down and check in every once in a while. thanks for the reminder. :)
ReplyDeleteThis is a great post. The opening of your post really struck home. Even outside of relationships when something goes bad I do always go back to thinking about how much easier things used to be. It is something that I need to get out of though because it usually puts me in an awful slump.
