Book Review - Deep South {Book 1} ~ In too Deep

Hi there! Today I wanted to start this exciting post by saying thank you to all my lovely blogger friends and readers. I am overwhelmed by all the support, I really appreciate it so thank you all.

Ladies: Think Tall, six-pack, sexy as hell smoking hot body and gorgeous blonde hair and throw on some to die for blue eyes. That's how you should picture the main male lead character West in this story and ladies (sorry guys) he will light your fire.

Gentlemen: Think tall, sexy, hard-working, smoking hot petite body with curves in the right places and throw in all your dreams. This is how you should people the female lead Piper.

This books covers: Family, love, death, letting go, acceptance.

Author's Description

To save her brother from financial ruin, police diver Piper Harland does the one thing she swore she’d never do—return to the tiny island hometown on Stewart Island where Ryan “West” Westlake crushed her heart. West lost Piper once, but now she’s back for an unexpected six week visit. Maybe he wants her a little bit, but can he fall in love with such a flight risk?

Review

From the first page to the last page I was captivated, most people know I love a good romance and this book delivered more than I bargained for. The storyline takes you on a journey of two love birds who won't admit to anyone there true feelings whilst growing more and more in love without realising it. I love the fact that the author took the time to explain the lead character's background, gave each lead their own point of view. I also love the fact that you can relate to this story making it more believable and more convincing and as mentioned capturing ones heart. As I have always said I love being able to relate to the characters because when I am reading a good book I immerse myself into the book and I become the main character.

This book is well written, great use of grammar, just enough romance though in some areas I would PG it (nothing spunky just lovely in my opinion). I would recommend this book to anyone above 16+, I read this book in 3 sittings only because I did not want it to end. According to my kindle reader, it will take approximately 7+ hours to read the book but I can read it in less than that but didn't as since it was first time I wanted to absorb every word.

About the Author

I live in the Coolest Little Capital in the World (a.k.a Wellington, New Zealand) where I've yet to be buried under my to-be-read book pile by our infamous wind—my Kindle's a lifesaver! Married to a wonderfully supportive IT guy (who doesn't mind cooking dinner while his wife mutters to herself and hammers away at the keyboard), we have two teens who would love to be surgically linked to their electronic devices.
Find me dodging my muse while chatting on Twitter, Facebook, PinterestGoogle+, and Goodreads.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

    1. I am not the greatest on grammar but I do get side tracked if there is just too much grammatical errors

  8. I love a good romance within a story, but I'm usually not a huge fan of "romance" books. That being said, I'm thrilled you're reviewing a book at all! I think that's a thing more bloggers should do posts about :)
