I love blogging but as a confessed self-motivated person it becomes hard when you can't find motivation to even write a post later on finish it. As most of you know I run two blogs and both are booming at the same time and I am very grateful, so many opportunities have come my way that I did not think possible. I have over 12 drafts sitting in my folders waiting to be made into a "something" post but I can't seem to find the right words to fit into the post and make some sense of it all.
When I was growing up in zambia I had never heard of the word stress and I did not even know or comprehend what it meant but stepping onto my now adopted home I learnt the word pretty quickly. If you went to my country and asked people what it meant to be stressed they probably say you are just lazy and I feel like that right now. This so called "stress" is what we term being lazy where am from and do not get your knickers twisted I am not saying people who are "stressed" are not actually stressed but we all view things differently.
I have come to realise and appreciate that whatever life you lead, stress does find it's own way into it but it's how you handle it that determines the outcome. I have chosen to take a hike for a couple days and recharge my batteries. I would love to go to the beach or even fishing just to get my mojo back but I gat a 9-5 job that demands my attention and I have decided to give it that attention whilst I switch off on here.
I would very much love to give advice to my fellow bloggers and readers about how to deal with stress or when you're running short in the motivation department but I will not because I need to deal with it first before I can share how I deal with it. I do know what works for me and what doesn't, but now is not yet the time to share! when I have not yet had to use it for a while as you know things change.
Before I embark on my short break, I would like to thank my fellow bloggers and especially my readers and thanks for the support it's greatly appreciated. I am sure you know it's not easy for me to write this post and admit to my personal flaw at this particular time but I appreciate your patience and time.
** Don't forget I do have a blog-versary giveaway going on on my blog AJD where you can win a lot of prices including ad spaces on over 6 blogs**
